The Secularist is looking for passionate, independent interns from across Asia, Africa, Europe and the US.
If you are interested in telling impactful stories, exploring religious extremism and human rights, interrogating power, identity, and inequality, examining gender, marginalisation and social justice, analysing conflict, migration and displacement, engaging with climate and its intersection with communities, and contributing to a growing platform focused on critical evidence-based journalism, we would love to hear from you.
- Open to students, early-career journalists, and independent writers
- We are looking for original stories and current news affairs reported from the ground
- The work is completely remote and flexible
- Stipend is negotiable
